What Is a VGT Actuator?

VGT stands for Variable Geometry Turbocharger, and the actuator is the critical component that controls the position of the turbo’s variable geometry vanes.
The main function of a turbocharger is to recover energy from the engine’s exhaust gases and convert it into intake pressure, increasing the amount of oxygen entering the engine.
